Man Admits to Raping 9-Year-Old Boy at Home
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 58-year-old man admitted to raping a nine-year-old boy at his home when he made his first appearance in the Supreme Court.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 58-year-old man admitted to raping a nine-year-old boy at his home when he made his first appearance in the Supreme Court.
Dwight Belle has been in custody since September 2024.
Prosecutors allege that on September 7, Belle lured the child to his home and molested him.
Belle, who did not have a lawyer, entered a guilty plea to the charge at his arraignment before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns
The judge has ordered a lawyer to be appointed for Belle before he’s sentenced.
