NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 50-year-old man is behind bars after police say he ditched a gun and a kilo of cocaine during a police pursuit on Christmas Day.

Johnnie Herard, otherwise known and Johnnie Louis Saint, was arrested after the chase ended on Mackey Street.

During the pursuit, the officers allegedly saw him toss the cocaine and a loaded 9mm pistol from the Mitsubishi Lancer that he was driving.
