NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who allegedly brutally attacked his ex-girlfriend and left her injured on the side of the road has been charged.

Caleb Stubbs, 36, stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley on an attempted murder charge in relation to the December 26, 2025 incident that took place on Coral Harbour Road.

Prosecutors allege that Stubbs pulled his car across Rosalda Davis’ vehicle, forcing her to stop.

He allegedly beat her about the body with a blunt object, causing multiple fractures, when she tried to flee.

Stubbs was not required to enter a plea to the attempted murder charge and was denied bail.

He returns to court on May 31 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
