NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 23-year-old man is behind bars on a murder charge. 

Prosecutors say Ralph Joseph and another man are responsible for the November 7 shooting murder of 33-year-old Diamond Cox.

At around 10am on the day in question, Cox was at Deveaux Street when two gunmen emerged from a car and began to chase him.

Cox was shot multiple times and he died later that in hospital.

Joseph didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and he returns to court on February 22, 2024 to receive  voluntary bill of indictment papers.
