NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who admitted to robbing a woman as she left a store in the Harbour Bay Shopping Center has been granted bail, pending his sentencing.

Twenty-year-old Michael Pratt pleaded guilty to robbing Sabrina Knowles of $800 cash, a Dooney and Bourke and Gucci bag and wallet, and an iphone pro on September 28th.

Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis is expected to sentence Pratt for his crime on November 11th.

Meanwhile, Pratt’s codefendants, Howard Carey and Ombre Moss, are expected to be tried on November 15th and 16th.

The same men are accused of snatching a tourist’s bag while at the Westridge shopping center.

Both men deny those charges.

Carey was granted $3,000 bail while Pratt was placed on $5,000 bail. Both men now have to wear ankle bracelets as a condition of their release.

Moss, who was already on bail for multiple offenses, was denied bail in this case.
