Man In 60s Accused of Having Sex With 13-Year-Old
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man in his 60s stood before a magistrate accused of sexually abusing a child.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man in his 60s stood before a magistrate accused of sexually abusing a child.
Sixty-four-year-old Eldridge Edwards faces charges of indecent assault and unlawful sexual intercourse.
Prosecutors say the resident of Elizabeth Estates had sex with a 13-year-old girl between March 1 and 15, 2023.
He’s accused of indecently assaulting the same child on March 16, 2023.
Edwards didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Shaka Serville.
Bail was denied and he’s back in court on August 14 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
