Man Killed In Daylight Shooting

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Gun violence continues in the capital as police are on the hunt for a suspect tonight responsible for gunning down a prisoner on a work-release program in broad daylight today. The shooting happening in the middle of the busy commercial district.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Gun violence continues in the capital as police are on the hunt for a suspect tonight responsible for gunning down a prisoner on a work-release program in broad daylight today. The shooting happening in the middle of the busy commercial district.

Within 12 hours of an earlier murder, police are called to the scene of another shooting – this one in broad daylight.

An employee of Rubis gas station on Mackey and Madeira Streets is gunned down shortly after 11AM.

Chief superintendent in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department Michael
Johnson confirming the victim is in his late 40s, and a part of the prison work
scheme.

Not much was said about the program or the prisoner.
