NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man facing charges over a $9 million cocaine seziure has lost a bid to have his tractor  head returned.

Opee Culmer was charged in December 2024 after police allegedly found 1,277 pounds of cocaine in a container that was attached to his tractor head at the Freeport Comtainer Port.

Justice Andrew Forbes dismissed the application as premature since Culmer’s trial is still pending before Magistrate Laquay Laing.

The prosecution could apply to have the tractor head forfeited if Culmer is convicted.
