NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man has pleaded guilty in relation to a failed hold-up at a grocery store.
Samuel Higgs, 22, was sentenced to six years in prison after he took a plea deal when he appeared before Justice Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
On September 30, 2022, Higgs and another man, while armed with guns, entered Budget Convenience and demanded cash.
However, the would-be robbers fled empty-handed after store’s security guard fired at them with his licensed shotgun.
