NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who didn’t renew his firearm’s license for almost two years has been charged.

Police officers went to 32-year-old Jarmon Adderley’s New Providence home on March 28 after receiving reports of gunshots.

Adderley confirmed that he had fired his gun, but that he had a license.

The officers arrested Adderley and seized his .22 Mossberg rifle along with 266 after finding that his license expired in December 2024.

Adderley pleaded guilty at his arraignment before Magistrate Lennox Coleby and he was ordered to renew his license to avoid spending one year in prison.
