Maui Jim Opens First Global Store In Paradise

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In partnership with Carlo Bahamas, the first ever dedicated Maui Jim store in the world, has arrived to the shores of The Bahamas at the Atlantis Crystal Court.

The eye catching boutique depicts the philosophy of the brand which is to spread aloha through vivid color, clarity, and detail.

It immerses customers in what the world will look like while wearing a pair of their sunglasses.

The brand which originated in Hawaii in 1987, now offers more than one hundred and twenty five styles of sunglasses, all polarized to offer protection from harmful UV rays.

The store opened on Father’s Day weekend and for the grand event, customers were taken on a scenic boat experience.

Regional Manager of Kering Eyewear and Maui Jim, Pietro Turuan, says:

“The idea was to oster [sic] some guest in our Maui Jim boat in order to them [to experience] the real power of Maui Jim which is the technology of the lens…which…basically enhances a lot of the colors to make the view more defined.”

“[The] Bahamas is the perfect environment where to make Maui Jim express it’s DNA since of course Hawaii and [The] Bahamas has a lot of points in common, but on top of this, of course for us let’s say it was a natural step given the long partnership we have with Carlo Milano…,” he said.
