NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Back in 2021, it was announced that the Melia Resort would close its doors for two years for renovations costing millions of dollars.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Back in 2021, it was announced that the Melia Resort would close its doors for two years for renovations costing millions of dollars.
In a statement, executives at Baha Mar said the fully renovated resort would be opened in spring of this year and that has not happened.
When asked for an update on the progress of the project, Senior Vice President for Baha Mar Robert “Sandy” Sands confirmed that the resort is in the process of being demolished.
