GUANTANAMO BAY, CUBA – Big changes at Guantanamo Bay as the first U.S. military plane carrying detained migrants arrived in Cuba on Tuesday.

Photos showed the migrants, handcuffed and escorted by U.S. Soldiers, boarding the aircraft.

President Trump wants the Pentagon and Homeland Security to expand the detention facility there to hold more than 30,000 people.

Officials confirm this initial flight carried about nine or ten migrants at an estimated cost of nearly five thousand dollars per person.

Homeland Security hasn’t said if women, children, or families might be housed at Guantanamo in the future.
