NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bridging the gap between older and younger congregants hasn’t been a challenge for New Destiny Kingdom Centre Pastor Glen Russell who credits his diverse background for his success.

Drawing from those past experiences is what Pastor Russell says has helped him adeptly connect with both generations.

However, he told me about the ongoing struggle to stay relevant and keep all age groups engaged.

Over his eight years as senior pastor, Russell says he’s managed to find balance. Yet, he emphasizes the importance of preserving the church’s foundation particularly amidst the evolution of church and society.

Russell, a father of two, also shared with me why balancing ministry and family is vital.

In this vulnerable moment, he reflected on a time when his marriage was strained due to a lack of focus. It’s what he says has led him to become more intentional.

And Russell says his approach has not only strengthened his family but also fostered growth within his congregation.

He offered these encouraging words to other millennial pastors.
