UNITED STATES – A day after the FAA’s safety information system failed, delays and cancellations among flights across the United States were said to be minimal.

The outage that has since been resolved, saw the grounding of U.S. air traffic, leading to thousands of stranded travelers.

According to flight-tracking website Fightaware, there were 636 delays and 82 cancellations.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg warning travelers they could continue to see some ripple effects.
