MINNEAPOLIS – Two children have been killed in a shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis and more than a dozen others were injured.

The shooter died at the scene from a self-inflected gunshot.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating as an act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime targeting Catholics.

Police say the attacker had no extensive criminal history and acted alone.

Authorities found a manifesto the suspect planned to publish online and the suspect’s mother previously worked at the school.

Minneapolis leaders warn against targeting any community in the aftermath.
