NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With an influx of tourists due to more cruise ships being in the port, operations seem to be improving for some tourism workers of downtown, however, there are still improvements that can be made.

Keile Campbell reports.

Business has gotten better for tourism workers downtown, particularly the stall vendors and taxi drivers who operate right by Prince George Dock, thanks to an increase of cruise ships arriving to New Providence post the fourth COVID wave.

Back in December when the US Centers for Disease Control And Prevention (CDC) upgraded The Bahamas to a level 4 on its travel advisory, warning Americans against coming to the country, tourism numbers took a hit.
