NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The mother of murdered teen Davinique Gray has been charged with harboring a criminal.

Prosecutor allege that gunmen were after murder suspect Gamaliel Gray when they shot up Shinicka Johnson’s Nassau Village home on January 7 and killed her daughter.

Gray, who was wanted for the January 2 murder of Gerard Coakley, was allegedly at the home. He was charged with the murder on Thursday and denied bail.

Johnson on Friday denied allegations that she hid Gray from January 5 to 7 so that he could avoid arrest.

Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt Evans set her bail at $10,000 and ordered her to wear an ankle bracelet.

Johnson’s trial is set to begin on January 29.
