Mother Receives $5K Bail After Pleading Not Guilty to Child Neglect

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Twenty-eight-year-old Lyndell Hepburn was formally arraigned for child neglect  in the Grand Bahama Magistrate’s Court Monday morning.

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Twenty-eight-year-old Lyndell Hepburn was formally arraigned for child neglect  in the Grand Bahama Magistrate’s Court Monday morning.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge in court number two before Magistrate Charlton Smith.

You may recall back on July 3rd, police said at the time that the child’s parents reported the one-year-old child fell in a bucket.

The matter was brought to police attention by the Rand Memorial Hospital on July 4th.

The Forbisher Circle resident was granted $5,000 bail with one or two suretors.

The matter has been adjourned to September 16.
