Munroe: RBPF Domestic Violence Unit by Month End
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The launch of a Domestic Violence Unit in the Royal Bahamas Police Force is just weeks away.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The launch of a Domestic Violence Unit in the Royal Bahamas Police Force is just weeks away.
National Security Minister Wayne Munroe giving the update at the RBPF’s annual church service adding that the unit is much needed.
Last March, Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander announced plans to establish the unit saying officer training would be in conjunction with the Bahamas Crisis Center and the Ministry of Social Services.
