NASSAU, BAHAMAS – 31-year-old Cephas Brown, also known by his stage name, C-Rock 242 was invited to the House of Assembly by the Speaker of the House. Where she highlighted the positive message he’s spreading in his latest song, “No More War”.

Brown says he began playing the drums at age 7. But it wasn’t until 2019, during the pandemic, when he began to write his own music. Brown says it was an amazing feeling being recognized for his music inside the halls of parliament. And he says he’s grateful to be able to share an encouraging message.

As more young men struggle to stay on the right path and avoid a life of crime, Brown says a commitment to his future self keeps him focused.
