NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper stresses the need for the adaptation of more cashless and contactless payment methods.

While appearing as a guest at the World Travel and Tourism Global Summit, Cooper said while cash is still key, in a tourist environment cashless means of payment are paramount.

The Deputy Prime Minister led a delegation to the summit in Saudi Arabia where they discussed the post-covid success of tourism throughout The Bahamas.

Cooper also explained what he sees for tourism in the future.
