NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Glass Window Bridge on Eleuthera has had a nice engineering history, according to the deputy director in the Ministry of Works Robert Mouzas.

But following a major storm years ago, the bridge was moved seven feet and is now down to a single carriage way.

He says one of the issues with the bridge is it’s overtopping which makes it dangerous forcing the bridge to be closed several times per year.

He revealed that a new elevated bridge is being designed and is just about complete.
