NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A new fintech company is now in the works and is set to launch soon, with a program geared toward Bahamian real estate.

What started out as a dream in 2020 has now turned into reality.

Akerage CEO and Founder Carlyle Bethel says it will provide unique ways to invest in the market.

The company has received provisional approval from the Securities Commission of The Bahamas.

With the recent arrest of former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, Bethel admits that there has been some skepticism when it comes to investing in other areas including real estate.
