NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Junkanoo will soon be coming to the big screen with Bahamian indie filmmaker and tv director, Philip Williamson.

The documentary film, produced by The Colored Section, is called Who in Da Mornin, and follows Junkanooers on the road to Bay after the two-year hiatus.

This is the second documentary film Williamson and The Colored Section have produced, the first, titled Big Chief, Black Hawk, centers around Mardi Gras masking Indian tradition.

And Williamson says this installment of the series won’t be the last.
