NYC Mayor: Strong Person Of Interest Identified In UnitedHealth CEO Shooting

PENNYSYLVANIA – Police have arrested 26 year old Luigi Mangione in Altoona, Pennsylvania, as a person of interest in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

U.S. Authorities say Mangione, who was carrying a ghost gun and a handwritten note critical of corporate America, was recognized at a McDonald’s after police circulated his image.

Investigators believe he acted alone in last week’s targeted shooting outside the New York Hilton Midtown.

They say Mangione also had fake ids and clothing matching the suspect’s description. Investigators now working to trace his movements and confirm his motives.
