MARTINIQUE – The Olympic flame arrived in Martinique on Monday. It was the final day of its relay through French overseas territories. Beginning at Mount Pelee, the flame traveled across the country reaching several coastal towns.

MARTINIQUE – The Olympic flame arrived in Martinique on Monday. It was the final day of its relay through French overseas territories. Beginning at Mount Pelee, the flame traveled across the country reaching several coastal towns.

The flame concluded its journey in Fort-de-France, lighting a cauldron before cheering crowds.

The relay returned to mainland France today, heading to top tourist spots.

The Paris Olympics will run from July 26 to August 11, followed by the Paralympics from August 28 to September 8.
