NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Organization for Responsible Governance is working to bring changes and improvements to the non-profit sector. Project Manager of Map4Good, Vanessa Bethel, recently shared the organization’s goal of creating a directory of every non-profit organization in The Bahamas.

Bethel emphasized the challenges faced by non-profits, particularly in securing funding, as the directory is being developed.

“Resources are always a challenge, and we don’t have a clear answer yet.”
The directory will aid donors in finding worthy causes to support and help non-profits improve their programming.

“Imagine if we can make these processes more streamlined and efficient.”
Non-profits are often the first to respond in times of crisis, and Bethel believes the directory will be crucial in such moments.
