Our News And Yellow Elder Primary Team Up For Sports Talk
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – I had the wonderful opportunity to share a presentation with students from Yellow Elder Primary School’s Culture Club.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – I had the wonderful opportunity to share a presentation with students from Yellow Elder Primary School’s Culture Club.
The topic? Prominent Bahamians in sports. As many of you may know, I have a passion for sports and all things Bahamian and so I thrived at the opportunity to share.
I took the students, made up of second through sixth graders, through track and field, baseball, basketball and of course swimming in the interest of time.
Teacher Lead for the club is Tamara Porter.
And the highlight for Porter thus far was the club’s participation in the recent Junior Junkanoo Parade held earlier this year.
And these students shared how they feel about their club.
