NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was a day of excitement for the students at the Uriah McPhee Primary School.

The young people had the opportunity to hear from the professionals of various sectors which gave them valuable insight and advice about their desired career paths.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force, firefighters, the Bahamas National Trust and a number of media houses among the organizations that took part in the school’s career fair.

Our News teaching the little ones the basic guidelines of news gathering and the process of television news production.

They also got to meet some of the hard-working on-camera personalities as well as those who are sometimes behind the scenes.

Principal Pamela Armaly told the young students to use their gifts.

The guidance counseling department was responsible for the effort.
