GAZA – Tensions are flaring again in Gaza after Israeli strikes killed at least 28 people Sunday, including families sheltering in tents in Nuseirat.

The Israeli military says the attacks were in retaliation for a Hamas strike that killed two Israeli soldiers near the Rafah deployment line, a move Israel called a “blatant truce violation.”

Mourners gathered in Khan Younis as U.S. envoys arrived to help salvage the ceasefire, now at its most fragile point since it began.
