NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Meantime a peaceful protest is set for Miami in March, according to the Coalition of Independents leader.
Bain says the protest is being organized by Bahamians living in the United States.
Organizers say the protest is in response to what happened to Bain and his supporters when they attempted to protest ahead of the recent CARICOM Heads of Government meetings.
The date for the protest has not yet been released but another protest is slated for June 2nd and 3rd outside The Bahamas Consulate Office there.
Bain, along with 17 of his followers, were arrested earlier this month after their protest ended in chaos.
They were all arraigned and released on bail.
