NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Tonight’s council meeting kick’s off the PLP’s race for the West End and and Bimini seat. 

The process started Sunday, with the opening of the application process for nominees.

By Tuesday midnight that process closed and a total of 10 applicants emerged.

Among them former Cabinet Minister Shane Gibson, Samuel Brown, N. Edmond Munroe, Kingsley Smith, Robert Grant, Parkco Deal, Keith Russell, Caleb Outten, Calaritta Walker-Saunders and Lynden Maycock.

Gibson has been the most vocal.

Robert Grant Sr. and Attorney Parkco Deal are also hoping to hear their names called.
