NASSAU, BAHAMAS – PLP Chairman and Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell breaking his silence on allegations made against a sitting PLP MP.

In a voicenote early Friday morning, Mitchell said Party Leader and Prime Minister Philip Davis advised all MPs to be silent on the matter.

A woman filed a complaint against a sitting member of parliament on April 7th in Grand Bahama.

Since then, the woman and her family have spoken out calling for justice to be served.

Mitchell says he broke his silence on the matter after FNM Leader Michael Pintard said there seems to be one rule for the PLP and another for others.
