NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A police chase ended in a car crash and firearm discovery on Tuesday morning, on Thompson Lane off Fox Hill Road.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A police chase ended in a car crash and firearm discovery on Tuesday morning.

It happened around 10 am when officers from the Elizabeth Estates Police Station were responding to a complaint in the Sea Breeze Area.

That’s when they say they saw a suspect in a silver car speeding off.

Police pursued and a short while later, police say the suspect crashed on Thompson Lane just off Fox Hill Road.

The suspect escaped as he ran into nearby bushes.

When police searched the area they say they found a pistol and several rounds of ammunition.

Police need your help catching the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 919, 911, or crime stoppers at 328- tips.
