NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A police constable is behind bars on a rape accusation. Prosecutors say Julian Smith raped an 18-year-old woman on October 28.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A police constable is behind bars on a rape accusation.
Prosecutors say Julian Smith raped an 18-year-old woman on October 28.
Smith didn’t have to enter a plea to the rape charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
Smith is back in court on April 10 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
Smith, who worked at the Tourism Police Unit, has been suspended from duty pending the outcome of the case.
