Police-Involved Shooting Still Under Investigation
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Commissioner of Police Clayton Fernander, also giving an update on a police-involved shooting on Sunday. Shortly after 1am, officers attempted to stop a dark colored Chevy Cruze occupied by four men, however, the vehicle did not stop.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Commissioner of Police Clayton Fernander, also giving an update on a police-involved shooting on Sunday. Shortly after 1am, officers attempted to stop a dark colored Chevy Cruze occupied by four men, however, the vehicle did not stop.
Fernander says the three men were taken to hospital, treated, and discharged. However, he says their act showed a blatant disrespect and disregard for officers that cannot be tolerated in the community.
According to Fernander, the force will take the fight to the criminals and disrupt their activities.
