NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The long holiday weekend usually means that Bahamians are taking to the beach for a day of family fun and relaxation.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Zhivago Dames is reminding beach goers to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings as they spend time in the water this weekend.
He also addressed boaters.
