NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell slamming the Grand Bahama Port Authority’s statement responding to Prime Minister Philip Davis assertion that the government has been doing the work of the Port Authority.

The GBPA accused the prime minister of creating uncertainty saying that projects such as the Grand Lucayan Resort, healthcare, and the airport are government’s responsibility, not the port’s.

Mitchell disagrees saying the port is failing Grand Bahama.

The foreign affairs minister says the lack of funding is evident in the port’s ability to fund key projects.
