U.S.A. – The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $950 million, the sixth-largest prize in the game’s history after no winner in Wednesday’s drawing.

The numbers drawn were 9, 12, 22, 41, 61 and Red Powerball 25. Six tickets matched all five white balls to win one million dollars or more.

The jackpot continues to grow, with a Saturday winner eligible for $950 million annuitized or a $428.9 million lump sum before taxes.

Powerball says more than half of ticket sales stay local and since 1992, the game has generated over $36 billion for lottery-supported causes.
