GRAND BAHAMA , BAHAMAS – In Grand Bahama, a community-based organization is continuing to make a difference in the lives of young girls through mentorship, life skills, and leadership training.

The Princess Court Ministries, now approaching two decades, and has helped to shape confident, purpose-driven young women ages 5 to 18.

Founder and Executive Director Stephanie Burrows said what started at Central Zion Baptist Church in Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama has now grown far beyond its roots, expanding into several schools across West Grand Bahama, with even bigger plans ahead.

The program offers a wide range of activities, from baking and hygiene to health education, arts, and crafts, all designed to build confidence and character.

For some, the program comes full circle.

Jayda Russell, who is now a leading lady, once participated in the program herself and is now giving back by mentoring the next generation.
