NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 37-year-old Corrections officer finding himself on the wrong side of the law.

Renaldo Godet pleaded guilty to causing harm at his arraignment before Acting Magistrate Anishka Pennerman.

The charge stems from an incident outside Ultra Games in Kennedy Subdivision on May 9.
Godet punched and choked Delano Miller during a scuffle.

Godet apologized to his victim and paid him $2,500 to assist with his medical expenses.

Pennerman gave Godet a conditional discharge. He has to stay out of trouble for one year.

If Godet is convicted of an offense during this period, he’ll be jailed for six months.

Godet also has to complete anger management classes.
