NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors have dropped another murder case against a teen accused of a 2022 murder spree.

The DPP has decided that Kobe Taylor, 19, won’t be tried for the August 13, 2022 murder of Meckel Bain.

The 57-year-old was in the front of his South Beach home when two gunmen emerged from a car and fatally shot him.

The move comes weeks after prosecutors dropped a murder and attempted murder case stemming from a baby shower shooting.

On August 21, 2022, Joardly Avril, Perry Johnson, Tyrone Smith and Darron Rolle were attending a baby shower in Nassau Village when two gunmen shot up the place.

Avril died on the scene and the other men were injured.
