NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors believe that the murder of a man on bail was a revenge killing.

Andy Johnson, 40, was shot dead while at the Blue Hill Farmer’s Market on October 7.

At the time of his murder, Johnson was on bail for shooting death of Brian Evans at a home on Dominica Way on December 2, 2019.

On Friday, prosecutors accused Brandon Evans of avenging his brother’s murder by killing Johnson.

The 29-year-old resident of St. Andrews Beach Estates did not have to enter a plea to the murder charge when he appeared before Magistrate Shaka Serville.

He was refused bail and the matter was adjourned to November 30 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
