NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Around 5:00am Sunday, police reported that three men armed with firearms broke into a home on Marshall Road. The family was tied up, robbed, and one member was sexually assaulted.

Beyond making sure all windows and doors are locked, what can you do to best safeguard yourself in the event your family is targeted?
Press Liaison Officer, Chief superintendent Chrislyn Skippings offered these tips.
Skippings also advised people to join their neighborhood watch groups, and for those groups to place CCTVs at all entrance and exit points of their communities.She also noted that having a family plan is key.
