NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With the Tandem Waterfall fountains functional and lighting treatment refreshed, it’s hard to imagine the $200,000 revitalization of the Queen’s Staircase was done in under two months.

Nassau and Paradise Island Promotion Board CEO Joy Jibrilu, details the long list of work that had to be done on the project.

NPIPB’s support also extends to the maintenance of the area, including monthly servicing and cleaning of the waterfall.

Chair of the Antiquities, Monuments & Museum Corporation Rosel Moxey took the audience on a journey of the history of the steps.

With the success and fast turnaround of the restoration of the classic landmark, the prime minister says another iconic spot is up next.
