NASSAU, BAHAMAS – International Recording Artist Tanya Stephens has delivered hits to global audiences that continue to stand the test of time.

Officially breaking on to the dancehall scene in 1996, we witnessed her ability to effortlessly ride a beat, with her debut single produced by Jamaican record producers Dave Kelly and Phillip Bureel on the classic joy riddim.

It was a talent she says she was unaware of early in her career.

With that Stephens wrote and recorded “Yuh Nuh Redy Fi Dis Yet”, a song that echoed the thoughts many women would be timid to say aloud.

However, she believes being unapologetic contributes to the success of her career.

And the woman who once struggled to identify her words is now revered as a dancehall icon.
