NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 165 million dollar Heads Of Agreement signed for Royal Caribbean International, paving the way for Royal Caribbean International’s Royal Beach club on Paradise Island.

According to Prime Minister Philip Davis, the project will provide 200 jobs.

With Tourism being the nation’s number one industry, the RCI project is being touted as a catalyst in attracting more visitors to the country. But will it be felt by all?

Throughout the consultation process, many were concerned about the environmental impact. This prompted RCI to address many of those concerns eventually getting the green light from the Department of Environmental Protection and Planning last August.

For over a year, developer and owner of Paradise Island Beach Club Toby Smith has wanted to build his multi-million dollar project on the land.
