NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A violent home invasion and sexual assault in the Marshall Road area has left some in the south New Providence community shaken up.

Residents and business owners are speaking out one day after the terrifying incident.

Police say around 5am Sunday morning, three men armed with firearms broke into a home on Marshall Road.

Police say the gunmen tied the family up during the home invasion and sexually assaulted one of the women in the home.

Our News spoke to Carlean Moss of C2G Shipping, who says this isn’t the first time something like this has happened in the area.

Press Liaison Officer, Chef Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings tells us officers are still on the hunt for the gunmen.
