NASSAU, BAHAMAS – How are you ringing in 2026? Baha Mar is giving party-goers a brand-new way to welcome the New Year, with food, entertainment, and a Grammy award–winning reggae icon.

For the first time, the resort will feature a headline artist during its New Year’s Eve festivities, and executives are going big. International reggae and dancehall superstar Sean Paul is set to take the stage, alongside a lineup of top Bahamian performers.

Vice President of Government and Community Relations at Baha Mar, Robert Sands, says the idea came after the huge success of this year’s Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival.

“Every year we try to elevate and add something different… We want the momentum to continue,” Sands explained, adding that Baha Mar aims to cement the event as one of the signature celebrations on the island’s social calendar.

Sean Paul’s global reach, chart-topping hits, and regional popularity made him the ideal choice for the resort’s first NYE headline act.

Beyond the concert, guests can look forward to an upgraded Taste of Baha Mar experience, featuring dishes, desserts, and beverages from the resort’s world-class restaurants.
